ASL 2014 Information innovators - Thanks for joining us

A very big thank you from the A&SL committee to everyone who joined us for ASL2014 Information Innovators: librarians evolving in the digital environment

Special thanks to our very generous sponsors for the event - IEEE, EBSCO, ProQuest, The Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET), The Royal Society of Chemistry, Innovative interfaces, Swets, Burgundy Information services, Taylor & Francis, Institute of Physics (IOP) publishing, Dawsonbooks and Interleaf. Thanks also to the team at the Radisson for once again providing us with our great venue.

Extra special thank you to Marie and HEAnet for providing the live streaming for the event. Videos of presentations will be posted here soon.

Our thanks and praise to our two wonderful keynotes Fionnuala Croke of the Chester Beatty Library and Ben Showers from jisc and to all of our amazing 'information innovators' who delivered case studies and workshops and to the fantastic poster presentations.

Our speakers showcased the range and depth of innovative projects going on in libraries and information services around the country and truly demonstrated how much we have to be proud of.

We had a lively following on twitter through the two days (and beyond) allowing the conversation to be taken outside the walls of the radisson and to librarians around the world. You can look back on tweets from the day HERE.

Finally, thanks to our delegates, you came, you listened, you joined in, you shared and hopefully you went away inspired.

Friendships were formed, plans were hatched, ideas were shared and we look forward to seeing you again next year. Our Keynote Ben Showers was right 'This is the best time to be a librarian'
